The project was a Typical Exterior/interior remodel with a new production line inside the kitchen. Project included a 1 week kitchen shutdown with a 3 week shutdown of the dining room only so the drive thru could remain open for service the first 3 weeks. The building had extensive structural damage from water migration into the walls causing severe rot to the structural wood framing. BTS had to shore ⅓ of the exterior walls while reframing, never shutting the store down due to the structural issue. A major challenge to the project was its remote location in Michigan, causing material delivery challenges and contractor challenges, without this affecting the schedule and quality.
